I graduated from Dodge City High School in 1992 and recvied my bachelor’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University in 2001.
I obtained my early childhood teaching cerification in 2008.
I have been trained in Great Expectations, Literacy First Early Literacy, EC LETRS and Conscious Discipline.
I am currently a member of Coolidge’s 1st grade teaching team. Our team works together to plan and provide developmentally appropriate learning activies and lessons that meet the Oklahoma Academic Standards for 1st grade.
I have worked in the Early Childhood field for over 20 years. I have taught for EPS for 11 years. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of early childhood practices with parents, childcare probiders and educators in the Enid community.
I am married to Mike and we have 4 children ages 18-28. Nicole is a Senior at EHS and plans on attending UCO in the fall, Ashley is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma, is married to Cody and lives in Texas. Tristan is a graduate of UCO, is engaged to Caleb and Josh graduated from NOC Enid. Tristan and Josh both live and work in Enid. We have a dog named Ozzie.
I enjoy reading in my spare time and camping with my family at Kaw Lake. Spending time with my family is my favorite passtime.
